Report a website
Report a website
Section titled “Report a website”Thank you for helping us keep websites safe. A person reads every report.
- On the website, find the badge in the bottom right corner.
- Press the small flag beside the badge. The report page opens.
- Choose what is wrong with it:
- “It is trying to trick people or take their money or details”
- “It shows or sells something against the law”
- “It uses my work, my brand or my name without permission”
- “It shows adult or violent content to everyone”
- “Something else”
- Optionally, write which page and anything we should know. The address of the page helps us find it quickly.
- Optionally, write your email address if you would like an answer.
- Tick “What I am reporting is accurate and complete, as far as I know.”
- Press “Send the report”.
The page says “Thank you, your report has arrived”. If you left your email address, we write to you when we receive it, and again when we have decided.
A website with a subscription has no badge. To report one, write to us at abuse@tsurito.com, with the address of the website.
What happens after a report
Section titled “What happens after a report”- A person reads the report and looks at the website.
- If the website breaks the law or our rules for what may be published, we take it off the internet.
- If it does not, we leave it online.
- A free website with three reports from different people saying it is a scam, against the law or adult content rests until we have read them. Visitors see a “Back soon” page.
If your website is reported
Section titled “If your website is reported”Most reports are about other websites. If we take your website off the internet, we write to you by email. The email says:
- which website, and the reason;
- that a person decided it;
- how to answer us, and where else you can seek redress.
Nothing is deleted. Your website stays on your computer. You can reply to our email, and a person will look again. If we put it back, we write to you: your website “is back on the internet”.
You can read what may be published in “Settings”, under “Legal”, “What may be published”.
