Start from a design

Every design is a real website that you can open and walk through before you choose it. There are designs for many kinds of business: bakeries, clinics, restaurants, law firms, hotels, shops, studios and more.

A design is a starting point. Your assistant changes the words, the photos and the details to make it yours.

  1. On the “How would you like to begin?” screen, choose “Start from a design”.
  2. Press “Open the designs”. The designs page opens in your browser. Tsurito says “Waiting for your choice in the browser…”.
  3. Look through the designs. Use the search, or the filters “Sector”, “Style” and “Language”. Press “See it live” to walk through a design.
  4. When you find the one you like, press “Use this design”.
  5. Your browser may ask for permission to open Tsurito. Say yes.
  6. Back in Tsurito, the design appears. Check the name in “What is it called?”, then press “Create the site”.

Then tell your assistant about your business, and it makes the design yours.

Every website has a look: a set of colours, type and shapes. To change it:

  1. Open “Edit” and choose “Look”.
  2. Choose a look, such as “Minimal”, “Warm”, “Classic” or “Bold”.
  3. Press “Save”.

A look changes colours, type and shapes across the whole website at once. Your words and photos do not change.

You can also ask your assistant, for example: “Change the look of the site: warmer colours and a more traditional feel.”

Every website here stands on the Tsurito base: its sections, styles and checks, which we improve from time to time. Your website does not change by itself. When there is an update, you can choose to bring it.

  1. Switch on “Advanced” in “Settings”, under “Advanced”.
  2. Open “Online” and choose “Built with Tsurito”. If it says “There is an update to the Tsurito base”, press “Bring the update”.
  3. It takes about a minute.

Your pages, words and photos do not change. Your website is checked first. If anything would not work, it is left exactly as it is.

The update is only on your computer until you publish. Until you publish, you can press “Go back”.
