Change your website by talking
You change your website by asking for it in “Tasks”. Each request is a task. A task can be one question or a long conversation.
- Open your website and choose “Tasks”.
- Press “New task”.
- Choose a way to start, or write in your own words. The ways to start are “Ask for a change”, “Add a page”, “Change the look”, “Add photos” and “Fix something that looks wrong”.
- Write your request in the box and press “Send”.
Your assistant edits the website and checks it. Then it tells you in plain words what changed. Press “Website beside” to see the website next to the task.
Each task shows where it is: “Working”, “Waiting for you” or “Finished”. To stop your assistant while it works, press “Stop”.
Speak instead of typing
Section titled “Speak instead of typing”- In the box, press the microphone, “Speak instead of typing”. Tsurito says “Listening…”.
- Say what you want.
- Press “Stop and write down what I said”. Your words appear in the box.
- Read them, change what you like, and send as usual.
Your Mac writes down what you say on the Mac itself; your voice is never sent anywhere. If your Mac cannot do that for your language, it says so, and you can type instead. Dictation needs to be on, in System Settings, Keyboard, Dictation.
Good requests
Section titled “Good requests”- One change at a time. Short requests give better results than one long list.
- Say where. Name the page and the part of the page. For example, “on the home page, in the first section”.
- Give the real words. If you want a sentence, write the sentence.
- Give the facts. Prices, hours, names and addresses. Your assistant does not invent them.
- Say what is wrong. If something looks wrong, say what you see and where.
Examples
Section titled “Examples”- “Change the opening hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 to 18:00, Saturday 10:00 to 14:00, closed on Sunday.”
- “On the home page, change the main title to: Fresh bread every morning since 1987.”
- “Add a page about our birthday cakes, with three examples and their prices: small €25, medium €35, large €50.”
- “Add a section with questions and answers at the end of the contact page.”
- “Remove the page about our team.”
- “Make the website less formal. We speak to our customers in a friendly way.”
- “Change the look of the site: darker colours and a modern feel.”
Pages and sections
Section titled “Pages and sections”A website is made of pages. Each page is made of sections, such as a large title with a photo, a list of services, opening hours, a map with directions, questions and answers, or a contact form.
To add a page, press “Add a page” and finish the sentence “Add a page about ”. To add or remove a section, say so in your own words.
Your assistant uses the sections of our designs. If you ask for something the designs cannot do, it does the closest thing it can and tells you so in one sentence.
If you do not like a change, press “Undo the last change”. It undoes the last change on your computer. You can also ask your assistant to change it back.
Changes stay on your computer until you publish
Section titled “Changes stay on your computer until you publish”People on the internet see your website only after you publish it. When you have changes that are not published, your website shows “Live, with changes not published”. Read Publish your website.
Your assistant’s allowance
Section titled “Your assistant’s allowance”Each request uses part of your Claude or ChatGPT allowance. When little is left, the box says so, for example “Claude Code has 10% left, back Sunday.” If your assistant reaches its limit, it stops until your allowance renews. This depends on your plan with Anthropic or OpenAI, not on Tsurito.
If you have both assistants on your computer, the box also says, for example, “You can carry on with ChatGPT (Codex).” Choose the other one in the box, and carry on with the same website.
