Download a copy of your account

Your data is yours

You can download a copy of what we keep about your account at any time. It also holds the latest published version of each of your websites.

Download it

1. Open “Settings”.
2. Under “Your data”, find “A copy of your account”.
3. Press “Download a copy”. Tsurito says “Preparing…”.
4. Your browser opens and saves the file. Tsurito says “Your browser is saving the copy.”

If it says “The copy could not be prepared just now. Please try again in a moment.”, wait a little and press the button again.

What is in the copy

The copy is one ZIP file. Inside it you find:

• a short text that explains the copy;
• your account: what it has, its subscriptions, and every website with its kept versions and its history;
• the sources of the latest kept version of each website, in a folder called websites.

The addresses of people who reported a website are not included, to protect them.

Your websites are also on your computer

Every website you make is a folder on your computer. The copy is a second place to keep them safe.

When your account is paused or closed

You can still download a copy of your account. Read Your account is paused or closed.
