The first time you open it
Section titled “The first time you open it”Tsurito shows three short screens, one after the other.
1. Sign in
Section titled “1. Sign in”The first screen says “Your websites, wherever you are”. Sign in with your email, or with Google or Apple. Use the same email each time to find your websites. If your browser opens, finish signing in there, then come back to Tsurito.
Your Tsurito account is free. It keeps your websites, their addresses and what you have published.
2. Free to start
Section titled “2. Free to start”The second screen, “Free to start”, explains in one sentence what is free and what has a subscription. Press “Continue, it is free”.
3. Bring your assistant
Section titled “3. Bring your assistant”The third screen, “Bring your assistant”, shows two cards: Claude Code and ChatGPT (Codex). You need only one of them. Choose the one you already pay for.
Each card says where it is:
- “Not on this computer”: it is not installed yet.
- “Installed, but not signed in”: it is installed, and you need to sign in.
- “Ready”: it is ready to work.
Set up Claude Code
Section titled “Set up Claude Code”- Press “Install Claude Code”. Tsurito installs it for you. The card says “Installing…” while it works. It takes a few minutes the first time. Keep your computer awake.
- Press “Sign in to Claude Code”. Your browser opens on Anthropic’s page.
- Sign in with the Claude account that has your subscription, and approve.
- Some sign-ins give you a short code. If you get one, paste it in the box “Paste the code the page gives you” and press “Continue”.
- The card says “Ready” with your account name.
Set up ChatGPT (Codex)
Section titled “Set up ChatGPT (Codex)”- Press “Open the ChatGPT (Codex) page”. Your browser opens on OpenAI’s own page.
- Follow the steps on that page. Tsurito cannot install Codex for you, because OpenAI gives it out from its own site.
- Leave Tsurito open. The card notices by itself when Codex is installed.
- Press “Sign in to ChatGPT (Codex)”. Sign in with the account that has your ChatGPT subscription, and approve.
- If the page gives you a short code, paste it in the box and press “Continue”.
- The card says “Ready”.
When one assistant is ready, Tsurito asks “How would you like to begin?”. Read Make your first website.
You pay them, not us
Section titled “You pay them, not us”Your Claude or ChatGPT subscription is between you and Anthropic or OpenAI. Tsurito never asks for your Claude or ChatGPT password. You always type it on their own page, in your own browser.
Each request you make uses part of your assistant’s allowance, as it does when you use Claude or ChatGPT directly.
Updates
Section titled “Updates”Tsurito looks for new versions by itself. When a new version is ready, it says “A new version is ready. Restart to update whenever it suits you.” Press “Restart to update” when it suits you. Nothing installs without you.
You can also check in “Settings”, under “Updates”, with “Check now”.
If something does not work
Section titled “If something does not work”Read The AI does not start.
